Next time I am VA I am snagging a few for my brother...and I found a place to buy A. titanum but it probably wouldn't bloom in my life-time.

I also had gotten some titanum and decus-silvae seeds. The decus-silvae seeds along with one titanum seed all came up nicely and seem to be doing well. I looked at the other titanum seeds the other day and two of them seem to be showing potential.

So- does this plant die after blooming? If so, are you going to dig up the bulb and eat it - as it is a known "herbal" supplement?

Oh my God...given the effect of beans, could you just imagine what eating that thing would cause!!!!

    Oh dear ...
This thread was hijacked for a while with all the talk about speedo and triathlon, and amorphophallus accented boxers, and cheerleaders of 100 years old, and Neem oil ... I DO it, hehehe! Swim, run, bike, whatever, I do it as long as I am allowed to do it in my speedo and plenty of cheering squads!!! But thanks for the "herbal supplement" though, I say NO to "drug".
Sounds like all the ladies/laddies of this forum are all psyched up! Oh dear ...
