Dartmouth Plants 2

    Default Dartmouth Plants 2

    I snapped a bunch of succulents, but the sedum flowers didn't come out well. Here were a couple I liked:

    Haworthia coarctata Liliaceae
    Haworthia radula Liliaceae

    And this guy was wonderful, but I couldn't read it's tag. (NOID) It was more green than this photo suggests, but I was shoot towards the heat lamps, so the shot got washed in yellow-orange light.

    It's a cola del burro.... the donkey's tail. I've got one, well actually 2 cause it roots so easily that when you break a 'branch' you just stick it in the pot and it grows.

    Its also known as a lloron, crier in South America. Maybe its just a local name.
    I just saw these plants today at a small off road greenhouse in Long Island NY.

    Yup, I sold one of those today at the greenhouse. What is it with succulents...you almost never see hybrids of those, but everything else is hybridized.
