    Default The raised beds

are at long last finished. Did them 12' long 3' wide 18" deep. Ray suggested U shape but went with ease of access to the shed. Hummingbirds have mostly gone by now but might be able to catch the last few. At least the yellow jackets will be happy. On to the sidewalks and patio! But 1st its getting darn cold out! 48 F last night. I picked up two 4' 4 light T8 fixtures at a yard sale last week so have get the orchid setup in the basement done lickety split!

Those are nice. What are you planning on growing in them? It was 40 this morning. Most of the indoor plants are in already except for the succulents and cacti.

Thank you Karin! Next year one will be peas to start and when those finish we'll put in bitter melon kale, sorrel, carrots and one of my wife's leafy veggies I can't remember the name of. The other side will be long beans, Roma tomatoes, beets and another Philippine one whose name escapes me now but its related to sweet potato and you eat the leaves.

Not really Sheryl. I spend a lot of time staring at things trying to figure out what the hell I did wrong! Thank the gods most of the lumber was free reuse or leftovers. I also found a 50' roll of the green fencing laying on the road in front of the house last month.

    Looks great, Chris!

Hard to do better on the cost, too.
