Everything revolves around Rascal.I should have called him Velcro because he's always with me no matter where I am in the house or greenhouse. He's 4yr.
What a cutie!
Well he's about the cutest little thing. I have always wanted a good companion dog. As much as I love our Dobie, she is kind of aloof and independent--unless she wants something! LOL
By the way Jane, it's sure nice to see you back over here. The Miltonia you sent me at the other forum is thriving.
They are all so cute! My best friend had a Maine Coon for twenty years. His name was originally Cecillia for the afore mentioned "in his business" reason, but came to be known as Cecil once the obvious appeared. Tinker's first name was Daisy until he 'matured'. I think it gave him a complex. LOL
That is right Molly Taco is The Rat or Puffy Butt, Max is Bubba or Boo and Miss Maude is Pookie. They know all of their names and never miss a dinner.
Crazy how they get multiple names, my Daffy (who's "real" name is Katomerrs Daffodil of Springtime) is pumpkin cat, princess, and bellycat. Bellycat is when she lies on her back with her white belly stretched out, begging for a tummy rub.
I normally don't do this so hopefully I will be "forgiven" for posting one of those email forwards that tend to circulate on the net. However, considering the topic of the thread I thought perhaps y'all would find this one amusing

EXCERPTS FROM A CAT'S DAILY DIARY:
Day 683 of My Captivity:
My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects.
They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are
fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the
rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless must eat something in order to
keep up my strength. The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of
In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomited on the floor.
Day 694 of My Captivity:
Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I
had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly
demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made
condescending comments about what a "good little hunter" I am. The
There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was
placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event.
However, I could hear the noise and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to my power of "allergies." I must learn what this means, and how to use it to my advantage.
Day 705 of My Captivity:
Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my
tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try
this again tomorrow - but at the top of the stairs.
I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and
snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released - and he seems more than willing to return! He is obviously retarded.
The bird has got to be an informant - I observe him communicating with
the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. The
captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell,
so he is safe........ For now
Hey! Where was the slobering all over each new person I meet part of the dogs day??
