    Wow. I am in awe of nature. I know lightening storms can be devastating, but I love watching them. I don't know - maybe the energy in the air???

    Actually we were up there (seveth floor) hoping to catch a sunset. I was taking some photos of the city and the clouds and just happened to catch the shot. No way to plan that! Lightning (at a distance!) is so beautiful. We watched a thunderstorm way out over the gulf one night. It was so far away you couldn't even hear the thunder, but the lightning was so constant the clouds were glowing purple and pink. It was awesome.
