Sounds like you have the day all planned McJ and actually I would like the lobster over the turkey, except for the fact the Mr Hicks is cooking one on the Big Green Egg and I love the grilled turkeys. Have a great day.

    Dear Cin, Rat et al,

Plans at the holidays are always fluid for me. Which is half the fun!

Called a good friend an hour or so ago, to wish her a good gooble. She told me how her plans to visit her elderly father suddenly shifted a day, so she and her hub were having a quiet T-day without kids or friends.

I laughed and told her my same story, and now ours are combined. The lobster will likely form some sort of appetizer when I think it through. Turkey for the cats!!! So no homelessness! Not that I was minding the downtime. I'll still have it - but will also enjoy friends' company, as I love to do as well!

Gin I wanted to thank you for the laugh on your graphic. I have put off setting the table for that same reason.

Cin, we were happy as clams with our little weeny smoker and our turkey breast until you brought up Mr. Hick and THE BIG GREEN EGG!!! Now Darwin is pouting. Oh, well, just have to make do LOL!!
    Have a great day, all.
