    Yes I took the photo yesterday AM, it usually takes 24 hours from J stage to chrystalis, to see the catter shake off the old skin and become a chrystalis is truly amazing. It is so fast that I haven't been able to catch it on film. But I have collected 12 eggs so maybe I will get lucky this time.

    One of the eggs hatched out today and here is one of the baby catters. The big white thing beside it is a grain of rice.

    I've heard that there is no such thing as a dumb question, but I still feel dumb asking. I am really uninformed about this, where did you collect the eggs?

    The catters eat the leaves of the butterfly weed it is in the milkweed family.
