    Default A Date for Peanut

This handsome fellow (?) was my parents guardian and bug zapper in their room at Angkor Wat in September. Seemed like a nice enough guy, he was with them for their entire stay. he's about 6-7 inches long.

Did they adopt him and bring him home?

I almost went on an archeological dig researching the prehistory of the Angkor empire a couple of years ago. It was with EarthWatch. But my knees blew out, I needed the replacements, and I couldn't go.

Did your folks just get back?

Well it's certainly a handsome little guy/girl, and an interesting love possibility. for Peanut. But these long distance relationships rarely work out....

    Heck, I don't own a cell phone.

That's a Tokay Gecko. Don't let that fellow's mild manner exterior fool you -- tokays are not known for their gentle disposition. "Vicious" is usually one of the kinder epitaphs used to describe them.

    Oh, Pavel!

I love your new avatar! Peanut is so photogenic, I can only imagine her as an angelic reptile. The bible doesn't speak about many of them!

    Please give her our regards!

He may have been a guardian for your parents, Diane, but with his qualifications (according to Pavel), I don't think he'd make a nice beau for Peanut. 'Peanut' and 'viscious' should not be in the same room together. The kids would be pretty, though.

On the other hand, girls often like the dangerous ones.
