    That reminds me of a similar story...sort of...

    When I was really young, my grandmother had a massive Christmas cactus, and I remember one time when we were visiting, my mother came down the stairs to find my sister and I playing movie theater. I was the guy selling the tickets. "How many would you like, maam?" Tears off four leaves. "There you go!"

    I was very confused at my mother's wrath. It wasn't like I tore all the leaves off. There were still plenty left.
