I will easily say I'm a reptile person....so rodents don't bother me either. But spiders....*sigh* I have trouble.....eeeeeek is right!

Seriously, Avicularia versicolor is indeed harmless.

Why ever not? It's 'furry' .... & leg count-wise is like having two siamese-twin cats and is very low maintainence. Doesn't bark or screech keeping neighbors up at night.......

Oh heavens yes! Adults have a span of about 4", fairly small to medium-sized by tarantula standards. Its color will change too as it matures.

She has been after me to sell my leos too. That is actually not a bad thing since I seem to have a mild reaction to them (or their leavings) when I handle them or clean them. She does NOT like it when the mealies (and especially the crickets, which I don't get any longer) get out either.
