Urgh, I'm one of those who'd have a heart attack if I saw one among my orchids. The spiders are bad enough (I hoovered up 4 or 5 this week already, they must be coming out of hybernation or something) *shudder*

I am exceptionally fortunate that one of my cats just adores catching, chasing, pouncing on, pulling legs off, and generally tossing about spiders. The past 2 1/2 years have been so much better with her around to get the nasty beasties. Although she does have the irritating habit of leaving them on the floor with their legs up in the air. She learnt very quickly on that eating 8 legged creatures results in vomiting.

Although, obviously not the nice blue variety of Avicularia versicolor that Pavel was good enough to share with us!

Do you lose her/him in the plants when it's bathtime? I agree - nice looking, the colours are fantastic.
