Well, most models are a tad underweight, are they not? LOL.

Not to be too picky: The shot Julie posted, while that of a gecko, is of an arborial (wall climbing) gecko. Leopard geckos are terrestrial and have little claws (very sharp ones indeed!) instead of cling-on pads on their toes.

Drats! Even in grief, he's going to keep me honest!

It's a gecko photo, I believe, but many are mislabeled. I thought it was a cool shot, but Lynda was right on top of the nekkid coloration. Hmm...

Steven is, of course, quite right about the toes. I'll be posting another shot of Peanut later .... an addition to my "Jurassic Park" collection. I think you'll be able to see her claws in that one.

On the plus side, Julie, at least the gecko you pictured is female.

Well, I suppose that would be a plus for the guys.

Dare I ask how you can tell?

Well McInquiringMind, there are physical characteristics that are generally visible from the underside. The following link should take you to a site which has a pic of both a female and a male from the underside. While the site is specifically for leopard geckos, if memory serves correctly [and Steve or anyone else in the know is more than welcome to correct me] the traits are pretty typical of geckos in general

Well...yes, Pavel...now I see the light ...or something. Of course Peanut doesn't possess hemipenile bulges or preanal pores. How careless of me. Please pass to her my sincerest apology!
