    Wow. I fully expected to go {yuck} because I don't like dahlias, but this one.... pheewww it's a beauty. I'm really glad I stuck my head in.

    thats so beautiful!

    i wish that i had my own house to landscape. ive been obsessed with chinese tree peonies -- they all have such intriguing names. now ive got something else that i would want to add to my hypothetical yard!

    Kewpie, the fact that you know anything about gardening puts you light years ahead of where I was a few years ago when we got our house/garden. Your garden will come, and when it does, I doubt you will plant bulbs upside down like I did.

    Nancy, it's strange, because I have pretty understated taste in most things, but I like my flowers to be over-the-top. I have some stuff in my garden that you could probably spot from Mars.
