    Default a beautiful fall day

what a stunning day. Sunny and mid-seventies. The trees are at peak. Days like today are what fall is about. Lorraine and I took a long walk. about 1/2 mile from our house is a dirt road with very few houses.

    Beautiful pics, Ron.

Fall colors haven't been as nice here ... believe our summer was just too dry and stressed the trees too much. Temps were wonderful today, however.

You are way ahead of us with the fall colors. It is just now getting cool here in Arkansas. Beautiful images, Ron! Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful photos Ron. I love old barns. Your vivid leaf colors are far ahead of ours here on Long Island. Makes me want to travel upstate to see them.

Before I lived in Connecticut for two years, I thought that pics of your part of the country in the fall were probably "color enhanced." Ha! I've never seen such dayglo colors on trees in my life. Astonishingly beautiful.

Aspen colors have come and gone here. When they were at their peak a couple weeks ago, the winds started in.

    Thanks for sharing!

Fall is my favorite time of year, and I find that one of the FEW things I miss about living further east is the variety of colors in the fall. Mostly yellow here...and currently covered with SNOW. An interesting combination.

we had an early, wet snowfall 20 years ago on Oct 4th. The weight of the snow on the leafed branches caused them to snap. We awoke to what sounded like gunfire but was actually limbs snapping. Limbs took out electric lines and there were many without power for a week.

Oh Ron, the red barn, the silos and those gorgeous trees in their fall splendor. They remind me of the farm that I grew up on in Ohio. Thanks for the memories!
