    Oh well...
Got myself just a few more...heck, I was depressed with the coming of winter, I needed cheering up! Not into expensive handbags, I have enough clothes and shoes, can't wear much jewelry as a rule. And I suppose I am a sort of shopaholic

    So, my new additions:
    Pholidota pholas, minute.
    Pleiones fromosana
    Pleiones limprichtii
    Maxillaria tenuifolia
    Paphiopedilum lowii
    Paphiopedilum NOID, very pretty leaves
    Cycnodes wine delight
Cattleya potinara burana beauty (might have gotten a Bob Betts instead, but I wouldn't mind anyway )

And there will be some more addings next week. I already ordered me lights, a new humidifier, all sorts of experimental media. Green pots. I have 3 huge phrag sedenii now, got annoyed with the huge leaning one, bored ( really) with all the blooming continuously going on and separated him into two plants. Both resulting plants are huge and with lots of babies.

But I shall downsize a bit, will dump some of my saved phals om the sweet old lady next door, she has a hard time saying no to me when I am the only one that can cut the claws of her cats.

I am also giving myself a consolation present because I approach the 42 years mark in form of a...about...uh...8 others?

Will post updates when they arrive

    Cheers!

    Laura

Ok ok, new additions...8 new ones my donkey

    Laelia anceps
    Dendrobium lamellatum
    Laeliocattleya Jewel box
    Brassavola nodosa
    Coelogyne speciosa
    Mediocalcar decorarum
    Trichophilia fragrans
    Cochlioda vulcanica
    Dendrobium heterocarpum

And I solved the mysteries: the NOID paph might be a Paphiopedilum maudiae "The Queen", the person from which I got it was gracious and send me a picture yesterday when the motherplant started to open.

The Catt I got 2 weeks ago is not a Potinara Burana beauty, but a Bob Betts. Send pictures to the vendor, plant and cryptic label included and the vendor went oops, will send you a potinara free of charge

And I got another NOID, I identified it by the pic the vendor sent me as possibly Odontocidion Elske Stolze.

Needless to mention that the lot of them came a tad tired, some of the roots took the transport bad but they are all still alive and some perked up nicely already.

Actually the Cochlioda vulcanica has 2 bloom spikes that are towards the end of the blooming. She lost most of the flowers in the transport and the spikes were damaged yesterday when I unpacked her. But I left them on because the buds looked ok, just a tad dehydrated and today when I came from work they were perky!

(And a got myself a Hoya imperialis for good measure, it looked toooo cool - seriously healthy plant!)

Oh well, me goes to bed!

    Have a great one!

I just realized that it has been a while since I upgraded this, so here I go. Again.

    Dendrobium kringianum miniature variant
    Ceratostylis eria
    Odontoglossum pulchellum
    Epidendrum porpax
    Maxillaria picta
    Psychopsis mariposa
    Chiloschista lunifera
    Pteroceras semiterretifolium
    Habenaria rhodocheila
    Dendrobium tetragonum var. gigantea
    Ascocentrum miniatum
    Cochleantes discolor
    Paphiopedilum vinicolor "Black Jack"
    Cattleya schilleriana Imper. x sanderiana
And a handful of pleione bulbs

I also bought a Liparis sp and a Phalaenopsis micholitzii about 2 weeks ago, but they get to live with their original owner till the temperatures improve. Winter just started, it has snowed for almost a whole week without a break more or less and it is COLD.

I gave away 2 of my very old phals because of the lack of space. And I am biting my nails and droolling coz I saw some interesting plants that I can't get just now because of the temperatures outdoors.

Oh well, I'll might as well go start another thread to bitch in

    Have a great one!
    Laura
