    Hi everyone. Just wondering if any of you may be able to ID this plant for me?
    It is one of those noids laying around from our last move. Hope you can help...

    Ok everyone! have had this plant ID'd...and I was sooooo off!
    It is Pholidota imbricata.

    Thank god for that! if it wasn't for the darnned thing flowering I would still be guessing.

    glad you found an ID. I know it didn't look like any Dendrochilum that I have seen before but it is a large genus

    Hard to tell from the pic, but is the lip pink? It's really lovely so petite. Does it have a fragrance? I really like this one.

    No the lip is not pink, the whole flower is white. Shame though, the idea of a little pink in there sounds lovely also.
    This one is not fragrant, and not so petite!!! the flower raceme is about 20cm long, with leaves about 15cm.
    But when you grow Vandas and Grammatophylums...this one is very petite. He he
    Glad you like it. It is an intermediate to warm grower, but have acclimated it to cooler growing and it is very tolerant.
    Flowers off the new growth reliably.
    If you can't find one of these, try Phol. chinenses, now that one is quite small, and awfully cute!

    I have the same one and had the same problem ID ing it thought the same as you . Gin
