    I have a Phaiocalanthe Kryponite 'Blood Bath' it will lose older leaves but does not go dormant . Watch the old bulb for rot . Gin

    Here's a picture from this week. Since the last post, another new growth started. That makes 2 from the original p-bulb and 2 from the sad looking off shoot. It's not all good news, though. The brown has begun spreading down that scraggly leaf, and the original p-bulb has turned darker and a little wrinkly. I don't know if that's from rot, as Gin warned about, or if it's just weakening from the effort of supporting the newer growths. I guess all I can do now is wait it out, unless anyone has any suggestions? I am the sort to follow something through to the bitter end.

    That reminds me of my cymbidium bulbs. The old bulb put out tons of new growths while looking horrible. All should be well, your new growths look great.
