Default Dendrobium compactus culture?

I have been looking for cultural information, on the web & other sources, on the growing of a new seedling (from a flask) called Dendrobium compactus . Apart from a brief mention in Lavarack, Harris & Stocker " Dendrobium & its relatives." I have so far found nothing apart from the fact that it is a plant that is ueded extensively in hybridisation. Can any one please help? particularly as to whether it is grown as a cool plant? in a pot? and its appropriate compost mix?

I was looking for culture information on this too. Do you have a pciture of the seedling?

I have a Den is called Little Diamond Compactum, am wondering if we have similar Dends. This one is small orchid, canes are less than 4" , and one old spiked cane is less than 3". It's growing well with new cane, but no sign of spike.

Are you sure you don't mean Dendrobium compactum? Dendrobium compactum is a warm grower.

Here, try this link...

Dear Lizgeo,
Will provide a picture of my (small) seedling as soon as I can! Mine, however, is a species seedling not a hybrid'
