    Default Mystery Phalaenopsis

Hello all. I know it has been a while since posting, but have been really busy. Home in bed for a couple months. Had lumbar fusion last week. My wife and boys bought me the Phal below at one of the large whole sale stores. Althought that plants are always very nice, and very healthy, they never come with tags. If someone could identify it, I would greatly appreciate it. They bought it for me before I went into the hospital. We never get each other flowers, we always try to find an orchid that we don't already have. The flowers are Purple and White, not Purple and Yellow as they might appear. Thanks guys.

Sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well and I hope you have a sppedy recovery.

I don't know the plant, but I have noticed that a lot of the mass produced Phals come in a clear plastic pot that is inside the decorative pot (often with no drainage). If that is the case, usually the name is printed on the side of the plastic insert.

Here's wishing you a quick recovery. I hope you will find the name on the plastic pot as Mycologist suggested. Good luck.

    Cheers,
    BD

Nothing on the pot. It is in plastic, and poorly potted, but nothing there.

I hope you are feeling better. What a nice thing to do in buying each other orchids. I think you have a 2 for 1 there too.

Looks more like Phal. Ever Spring Gentle to me. Just MHO. Whatever you call it, it's lovely. Good job.
