    well it all depends. If it was a "special" Phal and I had the room to let it sit to see what happens then I would just let it stay, otherwise I would not bother.

    Hello and welcome. I keep plants as long as they have any green showing, lol, but I don't expect a phal that had a terminal spike to do much. Since the spike has already been removed, you will have to hope for a basal keiki. Best of luck to you!

    don't give up!
    i had a couple phals that grew a spike straight out of the center before, but they finally grew a new leaf and moved on. so just be patient and hang in there, it will get the right idea!
