Cool Phal in 2nd bloom with new leaf?

    Hey,
This is my second phal that i havent killed within a year..lol...oops but its lovin life more then my moon phal., which isnt doing bad either..but Im not quit sure what its parents were like, kinda generic looking but it has a slight fragrance. This would be its 2nd bloom. It started in feb ended in june and started another in june and is still in bloom. This time I let the flowers hang cause i wanted something differant. But the one thing i was wondering about was the new leaf growth. I didnt think it could bloom and set new growth as well...Can anyone tell me if this is usually normal? also maybe what kind of phal it might be?

    thanks

It would be hard to guess what the phal's 'true' identity may be since there are so many crosses out there. I can offer my agreement, though. Looks like you are doing a great job with this one. Congratulations.

    Cheers,

    Talking

Thanx alot for the compliments Cindi, Margo, and Bruce. Im glad im doing better with phals this year. I appreciate it.....Hopefully I can transplant it this year to straitin out the growth as well as lack of drainage. Sitting on my bookshelf next to the window has made it tilt so much without training. Its deff getting hard to maneuver around the others.

Clustered roots at the bottom sometimes sits in water. Dont want that Root Rot later on.

Andrew, those roots are beautiful! I would not change a thing! If you see much water stting in the bottom, tip it out if you can, otherwise leave well enough alone.
