Help... I'm accustomed to bonsai and citrus lol. This is the first year I will have orchids during autumn and winter (and lots of them!!) Most of them are phals, but I have three, pics below. What do I need to do with these during winter? Do they need rest, cold, no water, no food? I'm a bit confused lol

    Oops...pics

why won't my pics load? lol I tried twice. Anyway, the pics were of a dendrobium, one called tahoma glacier or something like that I think, sorry can't remember exact name, and an encyclia cochleata.

could it be Beallara tahoma Glacier? See if you can manager the size of photos as Margo said, and post it here

I grow a lot of Phals and Paphs. In general, I don't fertilize as much and don't water as much. During the winter, the amount of growth slows down and so plants don't need as much fertilizer and water. Cooling off in the fall tends to trigger blooming in Phals. Some of the Paph species need a definite winter rest with water really cut back and no fertilizer. It does depend on what plants you have. I don't grow Dendrobiums, so can't help you there.
