Unhappy On replanting from a compot

Somewhere on another forum, I read where someone was putting 2 or 3 plants in a pot to get "more bang for a buck" when they flower, I took plants from a compot, and put 2 to a pot. Now I have read that to be judged in a show, there must be a single plant per pot. Did I screw up??? I don't expect to show any of my plants, but if I should sell any, this would preclude them from being shown.

    Hi John,

You are correct. Only one plant per container for judging. Welcome to OrchidTalk.

    Cheers,
    BD

Hi John, if the plants are seedlings from the same cross they would all have the same name. There is no reason you can't in the future separate these plants to their own pot. Many growers puts their seedling after deflasking onto a community pot. Later when these plants are bigger, they are moved on to their individual pots...
