Default Oncidium not behaving!

Hey guys! I'm fairly new to this, so be patient with me. I went to an orchid show the other day, and brought home this oncidium. That was Tuesday, and today is Saturday. He had as many buds as you see here in the picture. But none of them have opened yet! Is this normal? I'm kinda in a panic, because my other oncidium blooms maybe a day or two at the most after he gets his buds. They are supposed to be really unique flowers. Some sort of special breed specially done by the garden. I don't want to mess something up and miss out on the experience of the flowers. Has anyone else had an oncidium have buds this long? I appreciate any and all help! I don't want to be a bad mom

Hi, I have had oncidiums that have taken weeks, even months to open their buds, even at the stage of developement yours are. Just be patient. Some oncidiums open quickly, others take their time. Looks like a really nice plant. Can hardly wait to see your pics when it is in bloom. Do you have the name of it?

It's making you wait huh...lol. That's normal. Go away for an hour or two and they will open. Orchids like to teach us patience... I look forward to seeing the pictures when it blooms out.

Thanks guys! I'll chill out. It's good to know this is normal. I was worried it was just terribly irritated to have left its home. Patience! I could use some of that

The tag it came with says thus: "Odcdm. Floral Factor Rayna." I hope that answers your question, as it's all the info it came with. Thanks again!
