I recently purchased some new plants and have found limited information on one of my new plants. I am looking for information on how to grow Trichopilia suavis. If anyone can help me with some info I would appreciate it.
Recently I got Trichopilia tortilis and as I have no experience with growing this species, I spent quite a lot of time to find relevant informations: when I saw the pics of this species I was very happy to got it.
So, I think your Trichopilia suavis likes:
- High humidity & partial shade
- Abundant watering during the growth
- Reduce watering during the winter season
- Good air movement
The average gap between day and night should be around 18ºF (10ºC).
Summer temps can reach 85 F°(30 °C) during the day and winter night temps can drop down to 50 °F (5 °C)
These are very basic informations and someone might know something more to say, but hope this will help a little.
