    Question Too Much Rain?

I grow all of my Catts. and Den.s out doors. We have been getting a lot of rain the last few days and more on the way.The easy solution is move the plants.I have 30 plants that are outside.I'm not sure where I could place 30 plants inside. Many of my plants are in spike or in sheath.Which is worse,my plants getting to wet for 7 + days or change the location and risk blasting the blooms to be? I guess I need to find a place soon,in case we have any near by hurricanes!! Growing these plants is very much like life.Just when you think everything is going well, something new crops up and causing new challenges. I have very little hair left now!! Have Fun,Rich

Can you put them under the eaves of the house to protect them a little? Make sure that they have plenty of air circulation and treat well with fungicide.

Sorry, Rich. I would treat with fungicide just to be safe. Also, as Cin suggested, if you could perhaps put the under the eaves of the house or maybe cover with a plastic tent to keep off rain but allow light?

    Cheers,
    BD

    Question Which Fungicide?

I have installed some additional space on my balcony, out of the rain. For the plants that are outside and very wet,is there a fungicide that I should use? The additional space is made out of 1/2" PVC pipe with 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" spacers from the ceiling.I should have used 2" x 2" instead,it would have let the wire hangers go over the pipe easier.Live and learn!! Thanks for the replies,Rich

Looks like a good set up. I use the blue bottle 3 in one that you get at the orange big box store. It seems to do the job down here in the heat and humidity. Once every 3 weeks in the summer if they are wet. PM me if you need the name

The rainy season has started on our side of the world too.Lucky we don't have hurricanes - just the occasional rain storms. It is fungicide season too. Hahaha.
