    dont worry it will pull thru.... just give it tlc. i've had much worse than that where the pbulbs are literally cooked.

    I'm not an expert, but I think I would remove that whole leaf, before it spreads to rest of plant.

    Seems so. Even after the cutting and using of a fungicide at the edges, new darkness appeared at the edge and now deeper again. The darkness still expands...

    Also not an expert. Perhaps the infection spread to the rhizome?

    Having a little problem with sunburn in my sunroom this month. Might be something to do with the sun in August here.
    Also learned not to water or mist nearby mounted plants in the afternoon because drops of water can act like magnifying glass and burn the foliage.
