    Question About Fertilizing

It may sound dumb. but I don't know how to do it, I mean. the instruccions say 1 teaspoon for a gallon water every week or a tablespoon every other week.
But! do I use the whole gallon for one plant??? or how much of that water???
Can I use the same kind of fertilizer for all my Orchids? I have phals', oncidiums cymbidiums and dendrobiums.
    I got a 20-14-13 and a bloom booster of 11-35-15
    Thanks guys!

I gave up on figuring the math for weekly fertilising and switched to time release fertilizer pellots. I use 1/4 teaspoon for a plant up to a 4inch pot size. Larger pots get 1/2 teaspoon of pellots. The only exception is cymbidiums that get 1 teaspoon every two months instead of the three months the rest of them recieve.

The rule of thumb I have heard over & over for orchids is "fertilize weakly, weekly". I use 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of water, once a week. I water enough so that the water runs thru the plant (but it is certainly not a gallon per plant). The rest of the waterings are plain water. I think you are supposed to occasionally flush out the plant with a lot of plain water... I do that once a month.
