Default Mislabeled or Virused Blc. Pink Debutante 'First Love' HCC/AOS?

    Hello,

I got this plant in July at an Orchid Show from a vendor in Hawaii. According to him this is a division of the awarded plant. The flowers just started to open and I couldn't wait for them to fully open because I was so disappointed. I haven't contacted the seller yet as I want to wait for opinions.

I'm not experienced enough to know by looking if the plant is virused, I know some people can tell. I am attaching photos of the blooms and the leaves.

Everything looks okay to me. I would not worry about those markings on the leaf either.

    BTW, it is a beauty.

I agree. I think you should wait a few days, and let the full delightful pale pink color develop ( I believe it will ) before contacting the seller...Just my opinion. Betty :-)

Looks good to me as well, beautiful blooms .The pink is a blush not the tie dyed look of a bloom with color break .. Gin

Looks perfectly normal to me. It's a lovely bloom and if I'm not mistaken will be fragrant also.

Thanks everyone. I guess I was just disappointed because it didn't come out as I was expecting it to be. I will wait a few days and see if the color changes.

I would not be disappointed...If you ever decide to get rid of it, I will trade something for that. I am keeping few of those big floofs so that my friends will say "that is a beautiful orchid!". A nice light pink Cattleya is what I need.
