    Default White bumps...

Hi everyone, can anyone please tell me what is this thing in the leaves of my phal. Its silve color bumps and it seems to be spreading on the other leaves. I got this plant when its potted on sphagnum moss and I didn't notice this until I re-potted it. I'm hoping its just fungus and I have already put some fungicide on it.

    Please help me identify it.

    Thanks,
    eggshells

    ---- double posting merged ----

Hi everyone, I'm wondering if some can help me identify this thing that is growing on the bottom part of the leaves of my phal. I think its a fungus but I am not too sure now.

    Please enlighten me.

    Thanks.

Looks like spider mites attack. Get some miticide from your garden supply store. They spread very quickly,

Thank Cattan, I bought the Garden Sulphur Fungicide Miticide. I already sprayed some on the roots. Should I also spray on the leaves?
    Again Thanks.

Yes do spray the leaves, on both the sides, give the pot a good drench and repeat every 5 days for the next 20 days (4-5 repetitions) and you should be fine.

Yes! I agree. Try a humidity tray also. Spider Mites do not appreciate higher humidity and your orchid will.

    Cheers,

Thanks for all the information. I will do all of the above suggestions. Are those damages suppose to disappear when the plant becomes well again? I will update everyone if something changes. Again Thank you.
