Question Paph. callosum 'Hilo Fire' AM/AOS x Paph. Hilo Ruby 'Winery'

I'm not sure if the is the right place to post or not, but I just got a Paph. callosum 'Hilo Fire' AM/AOS x Paph. Hilo Ruby 'Winery' yesterday. On my way home I stoped for gas. The temp on my truck read 102 degrees. For some reason I didn't leave my truck running and the air on for my newest flower. It was standing up straight and ready to bloom. Now it's leaning over like it's about to fall off. Is there anything I can do to save it? I have watered it and have it in a cool place out the sun.

I'm no paph expert, but you did just what I would have done. Maybe by bumping this up, someone with more paph experience will see and respond. Good luck!

Nope, nothing to do to save the bud on this spike. Extreme changes in heat or cold will blast the buds quickly. Keep your plant in an area where it gets good, bright, filtered light (1000 – 1500 footcandles) and the temperature is 70 – 80 degrees F. daytime, 55 – 64 degrees F. night. You should also try to maintain about 60 % relative humidity if possible; not letting the humidity drop below 40%.

    Cheers,
    BD
