    haha phals arent happy unless they are being an awkward shape! The new roots look amazing. I think the brown splodge might be sunburn perhaps? They definatley seem to want to get their roots our of that sphag huh!

    Oh! Thank you! I"ve been using moss as medium for years already, and I was wondering why people say that phals are the easiest orchid to grow while for me, it's the hardest. I can't even make a phal bloom while the other types of orchids bloom a lot. Maybe that moss medium is the culprit. Will repot it with bark instead, if can't find barks hope charcoal will do. Coz charcoal is the easiest, it's available everywhere here. Thanks

    @dukejenn.....Mabuhay!

    If you could take away the sphagnum moss that would be better because the coco chunks can pack in a lot of moisture to which phals are not quite fond of since they're very prone to root rot and by removing it you'll let in more fresh air around the root. I have issues with coco chunks or coco as a medium.
    The last photo seems to be developing some root rot, i would suggest to take it out and put it in a new medium pref. charcoal or in a wooden basket with charcoal because i've noticed that phals develop stronger root system when there's lot of air circulation. Or you can just mount them in a fern tree slab.
    --just my two cents worth.
