I have a Sophronitis coccinea (apparently now, Cattleya coccinea god knows why), and i have bloomed it outside, on the fridge, on the windowsil, and the colour never changes. I think maybe it is light conditions, too little light i think, because with Cymbidiums, if the colour is dark or white or green, the less shade, the less the colour. For yellows and brights, the less shade, the more intense the colour.
