I have the fertilizer water at 1/4 strength, and have only used it twice on the colmanara. The colmanara is in bark.

I did as you said and cut the tip off of the phal leaf, and rubbed cinnamon on it. I also cut off both brown tips from the colmanara. The leaf with the yellow on it is near the base of the orchid, and the yellow is closer to the plants stem than it is to the end of the leaf. It is still solidly attached. Should I go ahead and cut it off and rub it with cinnamon as well? I moved 1 of the phals a few minutes ago to get to the colmanara, and 2 of the blooms dropped off of it, so that one may be close to the end of blooming for now. I will try to get pictures of all 3 of the phals today and post them for you to see. Lots of fun coming up with trying to resize those pictures too...LOL

Actually it will be: look out books, you will be put into a tub and the knick knacks will move into your spot!

Ok, got pictures of the blooms on the 3 Phals, and I resized them in a slightly weird way, but it seems to be the only way I can figure out to get them small enough. The colors in the pictures are not very true to the actual color, but the best that I can get with my camera.

The tags on them just said Phalaenopsis on them, but is there a specific name for each of them?

This is taken from me standing by the grow area facing the window. It shows you the kind of light that the Orchids get during the day.

My general rule is if it isn't working for you it is working against you...that being said I always remove questionable leaves...especially when I am not sure about the reason for the problem...but that is just me. I wish you great growing and good luck with the new little ones.

Thanks Cheryl. I will need a lot of luck with them. It looks like that Phal will lose 2 leaves today, due to having them cut off. The one leaf that I trimmed and rubbed with cinnamon, and the other one. The treated leaf has yellow on it again, and I had cut off all the yellow then rubbed it with the cinnamon.

I have trimmed the yellow & brown area off of my Colmanara and it has come back. I now have a yellow leaf on another of the Phals, and it didn't have it before. I have not fertilized the Phals at all, and it's been a while since I fertilized the Colmanara. Do I need to repot them? Could it be that I am using tapwater on them? I let the water sit for a while before I use it. Do I need to buy distilled water to use on them? Any help that anyone can give me would be great.

I think the 3rd and 4th pic is burned due to over fertilzing, wash the excess by puting your plant pot in running water, avoid wetting the crown as it will rot.

Also dont put ice cube as Phals are warn loving orchids and might shock because of the the ice cube.

Let the Pahl finished the blooming stage before repotting as it will stress the plant recovering from repotting while in bloom.

Water them when the roots turn silver which indicates "water please". while green roots means "Not now, maybe 2 days after".

Rain water is the best for them, tap water from the faucet sometimes has strong chemical like chlorine wich can be harmful to plants as it may burn the leaves and roots by these.

My Orchids are having the leaves turn yellow and fall off. I ran the plants under running water, and bought purified water to use for watering them from now on. We haven't had a hard rain so that I could catch the rainwater for them. I have to go and buy a couple of pots for them as well, as I only have 2 pots that can be used for Orchids. I wish I had someone nearby that could come over and help me get them back to full health. I haven't fertilized the Colmanara in a long time, and I have never fertilized any of the Phals. At the rate they are going, I'll be lucky if they last out the month

It's starting to look like I may possibly lose 1 of my Phals as it's last leaf just fell off after turning yellow. The other 2 Phals still have leaves, but the problems continue. My Colm is still having problems as well. If things continue going the way they are I may end up losing all of them. If that happens I will give up on Orchids completely.

Well, I guess I'd better prepare myself to throw out my Orchids, including the beautiful Colmanara that I have had since July. None of them are looking good, and all 3 Phals have lost all of their leaves. The Colmanara only has 2 leaves left, and it's looking like those will die and drop off soon as well.
