    Hi Everyone

    There is there is this red orchid I want to buy ( can't find it on online vendors site) But it looks like this



    What are orchids good for t5 lighting or lower light ?

    Renanthera Scarlet Yuka
    Can anyone give me info about the ease of this plant ?

    Renanthera likes lots of light. Also they usually grow in baskets and so need watered more often than those growing in a pot with bark, etc. Lower light orchids would include Phalaenopsis and Paphiopedilum. Hope that helps.

    I love mini cattleyas for under my T5 lights. They often bloom twice a year and mine have lots of flowers. A member of our Tacoma Orchid Society blooms Vandas under T5's so you can see you have a large amount of choice.
