Default My re-potted orchids are not showing any new growth!

Hi everyone! I'm looking a little help/insight. I have re-potted four orchids and they are not showing any new growth. They are just staying as they were when I re-potted them, except for one has lost two of its bottom leaves. They had lost all of their blooms and they were just starting to show new growth when I had re-potted them. I had read that the best time to re-pot was when all of the blooms had fallen, or when new growth had just appeared. I'm pretty bummed out. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time everyone.

    P.S. They are all Phals.

How long ago did you repot them? Orchids can often take a little "time off" after a change like repotting...

I repotted two of them about 3 months ago and the other 2 about 6 months ago. Should they have shown new growth by now?

Is there perhaps new root development? Are you feeding (fertilize) these orchids?

    Cheers,

I am not sure about the root, I don't have them in plastic pots so I can't see the roots. I have them in ceramics pots with a lot of holes in them. And I am feeding them Schultz Orchid Food 19-31-17.

Sometimes if repotted plant are in distress I water them with some Superthrive and that gets the roots going. Also, I don't really care for Schultz fertilizer because it has a lot of Urea in it. I tend to prefer a urea-free fertilizer (Dyna-gro is my favorite)

Thanks for telling me about super thrive! I read up about it. And I just ordered some. By the sounds of it, it should really help. Thanks again!

You could also add a bit of seaweed extract to the water you use...it has lots of growth stimulating auxins. I add a few drops to my misting bottle.
