only one root left?

    Default only one root left?

    hi! first of all, i apologise for mistakes i might make, my english is not so good...
    i've bought mini phal, it was planted in spagnum, roots were almost dry so i wanted to repot to check on the roots... i repottet it in peel (like all of my phals) ... 2 months later leaves started to wrinkle, one leave is yellow and roots are- gone! they are dry, only strings like hair!!. only one root is alive and he is gettin brown. eventhough i water the plant, the root is still dry. but a 2 new buds occurred
    what can i do? thx for ur help!

    Better post up a photo and let the members take a look. Sounds like it is not doing well, but post a photo and let us see what the actual condition of the plant is at this point.

    Looks to me like it suffered minor root rot, just prior to dehydration. The medium looks very dry. I'd move to a VERY humid, shady location and be patient. I think watering at this point may just aggravate the root rot.

    There is a brown patches at the base of plant this is the cause of dehydration and lost of the roots need to cut and remove all the media, for time being cover the bottom with moist sphagnum hoping it will induce new root if you are very lucky.
