If you keep your orchids in a place ( inside ) where it doesn't get above 75 or 80 degrees, you can get rid of scale by spraying all the surfaces, leaves, stems with an oil spray made for plants. I don't use the oil spray when it's above 80 degrees because it would "cook" the orchids that I grow in the greenhouse...Follow directions on the container...Betty
