Here are some pictures of the Schombo as requested. The last picture is how it was originally mounted. I moved it to the side on a whim. I am so happy right now!

My Myrmecophila in a pot started putting out new roots as well. Also 2 pieces mounted on a piece of wood. I guess it roots when the weather is very warm with some decent humidity.

I would be careful with too much sphagnum close to the roots. I suspect the roots do not want to stay wet for long. the baskets that house specimens of this genus that I saw at the Botanic Garden appear like there is almost no media .

Yea i was warned about that. In the current mount there is very very little media almost to the point of it not being relevant.

Size: 104.6 KBYeah then I saw it. Here are some photos of a clump an old lady had outside her house (she mounted it there). The roots are not so extensive for the size and it was in bright shade, this looked quite healthy. In that area the humidity is sometimes high but nothing like a rain fores/ cloudforest, I saw no moss growing on trees. So I presume lots of water and air movement (it is always breezy there),

i would put it in cattleya type lighting and water as normal also keep the growing area humid and cool by dampening down

Thanks. Since it is mounted I try to water regularly, I also water down my deck to keep the humidity up. Next weekend I plan to install a misting system.
