Default Mold causing leaves to fall

I have a phalaenopsis with a white md where the leaves grow from. The end of the leaves at the crown turn black and then fall. I've lost two leaves so far. What should I do?

I am worried it could kill the plant.

I'm not a pro, but I think you should check the roots, there may be a moisture problem. How often do you water? Do you wet the leaves while watering? How much wind does the area you have it in get? Is the fungus on the bark media too? You will more than likely have to do some surgery and give it a bath in SA 20 or another type of fungicide that you can get. There's a bunch of stuff here that you can read up on to help; Orchid Care | River Valley Orchidworks . I normally leave the plant unpotted for a day or 2 to dry out a bit if the roots are too wet. Keep up the posts so you can get more help.

This is the latest grown leaf, is it not?
Then it looks like crown rot to me. Unfortunate.
In that case you have probably got water into the crown when water and it has not dried upfast enough.

Wat to do, i would do what Tamaras suggestions in the post above and hope for the best.
If you can't save this growth there could be a possibility for a new basal growth if the plant is stron enough.
