I just picked up a tiny little plant at a bb store and it was labeled Tolumnia jairak firm no35. Being new to Tolumnia, I am not sure if this is a legitimate ID or just something on a tag. I have been trying to only by orchids that have an ID, but because this was such a great price, I bought it anyway.

Thanks “discosatifaction” for threads. But can you upload the image of Tolumnia jairak which you had brought from store.
Hi! I grow tolumnias, so if you upload a photo maybe I can help!
i believe Tolu. Jairak Firm #35 is it's registered name, should be pink with brown spotting and white inside... the market here was flooded with these (and lots of others) the last couple of weeks, they are adorable yet something has stopped me from buying any... post a pic when you get a chance! BTW, what part of the city you from? i do miss NO somethin terrible!
I am charging my camera battery now and will post a photo this evening. I bought the plant out of spike so am not sure what the flowers will look like. Shane, I live in the upper ninth/bywater right between the railroad tracks and the industrial canal on Burgundy. How long have you been away from NO?
I check the registration.at the International Orchid register. There is a Tolumnia Jairak Rainbow registered in 2004 but no Jairak firm no35
maybe its not registered but i know there is a thai wholesaler selling these as Jairak Firm #35, our market is full of these at the moment... tons of slight variations of Jairak Rainbow types, maybe they just made an asston of crosses for rapid commercial sales and didnt bother to register them, hence the #35 stuck on the name...could just be one of lord only knows how many they produced. i know i was slightly surprised, last year i saw one or two here and there around this time of year... but right now, seems like nearly every vendor has 10 flats of these stuck out at the front of their stalls... lots of obviously very similar but different crosses
Here is a photo. Sorry it took so long.
