    Default Huge cymbidium needs dividing

I have a massive cymbidium that blooms in the summer. When is it the best time to cut it up? I have been told to use a saw to cut it up, but any other tips would be helpful.

I used to division mine when new growths started in the spring , i have resorted to using a spade to separate them , they can be very tough .Best to try soaking root ball in warm water for 20 mins or so before trying.
