If/When you visit Colorado, the lower population of insects will be easily detected. Even during summer, the bug pop is relatively low (as compared to Texas or Florida like places).

I've lived in OH, how different that is from you I'm not sure. Was born in Tx though and live in FL. I have grown plants in many climates (loved plants and animals since I was 5; actually grew my 1st watermelon when I was 7) but even now new problems always arise.

Ohio has a climate more like the east coast as opposed to the arid plains of Colorado.

I know it sounds funny considering plants are N,E,S,W oriented but these types of directions never sit with me. I know some places hit specific degrees and some dont. EEK. No one would ever believe that I am actually science and math specific (as long as its not human bones or TAN, CON,SAN, or Diameter, or Circumference, or Tax related) HEE,HEE. I only know the terms because of the frustration of trying to learn them. I've also noticed that languages and communication aren't strong for me either. I took 4 years of Spanish and 8 of french, yet can't remember most of it. k now I ramble so I'm done.
