Mini Orchid

    I would mention too that Phals don't like cold conditions like that and being cold would contribute to the plant giving up. However, you'd do really well with Cymbidiums that many of us can't bloom because they want some cold time like the conditions you mentioned.

    Im in zone 7b, just on the edge of 8a, and we've had a chillier than usual winter that has been incredibly wet. I dont remember the last few years being this wet. Next year, they'll go in a tank with a heat mat and 6500k lights.

    I'll toss it as a lost cause. Not the first to die on me, and probably not the last. I just picked up another white blossomed phal. with 4 stems so I am in no way crying over it. Thank you every one for your input.

    If you have not tossed it as yet don't, I have brought a phalaenopsis which had no roots back to a beautiful plant with lots of flowers it took some patience though and there was great reward after about a year or so, try, try
