Default sick orchid causes/care for yellowing and see-through leaves?

A friend recently gave me a (phalaenopsis?) display that she got as a gift about a half a year ago. It looked pretty sickly, and I discovered upon repotting from the display it came in, that it had been sitting in water for a couple of months and a lot of the roots were rotten. I cut away and cleaned the remaining roots and put it in a nice breathable pot, but I'm not sure what else to do. The two leaves are holding on to the plant firmly, but one is getting yellow at the base, and the other is kind of orange and see-though at the tip. Has anyone seen this before? any advice? Thanks!

Looks like environmental damage to me. I am not an expert on diseases or virus' though. Hope for a new leaf to pop out and it'll be ok, IMO.

I dont like see through leave, i had somerhing similar to that, it will affect whole leqve pretty quick. I would say cut it of and watch remaining leaf. Also yellowing from the base of leaf is not a good sign, mine with this symptoms died. Sorry for the prognosis
