Booth Lee Venice 1st spike started in mid Oct. and opened 2nd week of Dec. flowers lasting until 2nd week of Jan. Photo yesterday is 2nd spike from an underdeveloped pseudobulb, the spike was 3" long 3 weeks ago and flowered like popcorn in microwave. There was no sheath, the spike grew from the unfurled foliage, a 3rd spike is emerging from foliage that looks like a new banana leaf. Not complaining because will 6 more weeks more of flowers, but isn't this all strange ?
