    Default outside Schomburkgia

Ive been very interestedin getting a Schom to live outside on my eastern wall. It gets direct sunlight from sunrise to 11, so three to four hours season depending. Im not really concerned about light, but rather humidity. The relaitve humidity outside, I dont think measures up against buyouant greenhouse moisture. Will this make a difference so long as its water needs are met?

so long as it gets the moisture. When I lived in Brisbane ,Austrailia I regulary visited a nursery where they had a schome or two growing at the base of palm trees. They turned the sprinklers on dayly in the warmer months, where the temps were reaching about 43 C very day.The same nusery also grew vanda alliance for sale ,no mix ,just hanging from a wire.

Your schomburgkia should be more then fine as long as it is properly watered. I grow quite a few mounted on trees, but I live in Florida so I have high humidity. Also schomburgkias can take full sun. I grow mine so they get sun about 6-8 hours a day. If you do mount it outside just water it once a day, and it should be fine.
