Phal coloration

Hi guys,
I've been lurking for the last few weeks and not posting much, but now I'm back. Quick question: I have a phal (sorry, no name) that is a great bloomer. It is on its third show off the same stalk now and has been blooming since new year's. This last show, I noticed a variance in the coloration on one of the petals. It was the last bud to open and I really thought it was not going to make it. What is this? I hope you can see it in the pics.

I'd say it's just a flower glitch on a tired plant. They can do that. And seven months is a long time to flower!
