Well the hot weather has finally broke here in Big 'D" so I put my plants outside. The few I have are in that bird cage you see in the right corner. I need to know if this is a good spot or if you think it my be too shaded. Below are a few pics of my back porch. The one showing the house is facing west. The sun you see is the most direct sun it gets. It will move down some when the sun is rising. The other picture shows the fence. The olny direct sun they get is while the sun is in the little bit of space. They get about 1 hour of direct morning sun. The last week it's been about 65 in the mornings. So the direct sun is not that hot. After that they are in full shade for the rest of the day. As you can see the ares is not that big so there is light getting to them. Good spot or not. If it is I plan on setting up an automated watering and misting system. To feed and create humidity.

I think that it is a go spot for most plants but its only trial and error, I was also looking at all that fence.

Yeah! Very nice place for a shade house or green house and LOTS of orchids!
