    Thanks julie,
I wont start fertilizer just yet, still not sure if mine is the right one I got. I got all house plant miracle grow fert. Says to squeeze 10 to 20 drops into one quart of water if you feed every time you water. Says if you feed every 2-4 weeks then mix one half cap full with one quart of water. also says its 8-7-6 not sure if thats good for orchids or not. Also please do tell me when to start to put it into rest .

You can't go overboard, Storm - we're all compulsive obsessive fanatics!!!

Get some 20-20-20 orchid fert, if you're worried. Use that at 1/4 strength for now.

just thinking on that fert ratio of 8-7-6 , you could us3e that at 1/2 strength instead of the 20-20-20 at 1/4 strength. That would give you 4-3.5-3 instead of 5-5-5

So if it says to do 10-20 drops in a quart of water should I put 10 drops or 5 drops? I was going towards 5 would that be right? Also since I water him already should I wait till next week?

10 drops and wait until next watering.Err on the dry side as most plants are damaged by too much water
